There seems to be a push to go back to the way things were before, and while there is a lot of joy that comes with returning to normal, too many are forgetting about the benefits to being virtual, remote, and more efficient. Before the pandemic, as far as the accounting industry is concerned, isn’t necessarily better, and only those who come out of this with growth and innovation will stick around. The industry and profession needs to move forward not backwards – so why are so many accountants still rushing to return?
